The Toy in Thyssen's Hand

German Industrialist Fritz Thyssen was instrumental in the rise of the right-wing to power.

Later on he would help raise hard currency in America with the aid of George Walker's Union Bank and Prescott Bush's holding company. This relationship went on until 1942, when the holding company through which he and the Prescott Bush laundered NAZI money was seized by the US government under the Trading With The Enemies Act.

Perhaps its only to be expected that the grandson of Prescott Bush, George W Bush, would also be opposed to campaign finance reform.
